After the process of sorting and culling photos, which is described in section 3. Working with PhotoPicker, you need to copy only the .lrcat catalog file from iPad or iPhone to the Lightroom catalog, replacing it. The * Previews.lrdata folder contains previews and does not need to be copied. After that, you can continue processing the selected photos in Lightroom. There are several ways to export a catalog file:
Go to the catalog structure view screen and click the export icon:
A standard dialog will open, in which you can select various options: send by e-mail, save in the cloud, etc.
Connect your iPad or iPhone, open the Finder app, select the connected iPad or iPhone on the left, go to its Files tab, and find the PhotoPicker app. Then drag the required .lrcat catalog file to the catalog folder on your computer, after deleting the old .lrcat catalog files. If you do not delete the old file, the copied files will be automatically renamed and the directory will not work correctly.
Connect your iPad or iPhone, launch iTunes, select your iPad in iTunes, go to its File Sharing tab (1) and in File Sharing select the PhotoPicker app (2). Then select the .lrcat file of the required catalog (3) and click Save (4). Select the Lightroom catalog folder, replacing the old .lrcat file with the new one. The * Previews.lrdata folder contains previews and does not need to be copied.
