2.3 Importing Lightroom Catalog into PhotoPicker (Windows)

2.3.1 iTunes File Sharing (fastest and most stable)

Connect your iPad or iPhone, launch iTunes, select your iPad in iTunes, go to its File Sharing tab and in File Sharing select the PhotoPicker application and drag two elements into this window at the same time - the *.lrcat catalog file and the folder * Previews.lrdata.

If the copied catalog is not displayed on the iPad or iPhone in the PhotoPicker application, refresh the content with the standard iOS refresh gesture - pull-to-refresh.

2.3.2 FTP server (stable, but slightly slower than iTunes)

The iPad or iPhone must be connected via WiFi to the same network as the computer.

In the PhotoPicker application, click the FTP icon. The FTP server will start and a window will appear on the screen with the parameters for connecting to it:

For copying, we recommend using the built-in FTP-client in the file manager Total Commander or similar.

IMPORTANT: After copying, the catalog file *.lrcat and the corresponding folder with previews * Previews.lrdata should be located in the root of the FTP server.

After copying is complete, stop the FTP server by clicking Stop FTP Server.

2.3.3 Сloud services (iCloud, DropBox and others) (convenient but slow)

Zip the catalog to a ZIP archive and place the archive on a cloud service. In the PhotoPicker program, on the screen displaying all catalogs, click the import icon, the Files program will open, in which select the desired archive on the cloud service.
