Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why am I unable to import Compressed RAW files?

Currently, the PhotoPicker app relies on iOS’s built-in functionality for importing RAW photos. However, iOS does not support the Compressed RAW format and may introduce support for new camera models with a delay.

To avoid this issue, we recommend setting your camera to shoot in RAW + JPEG mode. When both RAW and JPEG files are in the same folder, the app will prioritize opening JPEG files. This approach not only resolves compatibility issues but also significantly improves performance when working with photos.
